Overview
In a significant event commemorating the 78th National Day of Vietnam and 30 years of Vietnam-UAE diplomatic relations, Collective Design Agency (CDA) was honored to be the chosen logo design partner. This collaboration highlights CDA's role in creatively encapsulating a historic milestone, symbolizing the enduring friendship and cultural synergy between Vietnam and the UAE.
Challenges
For this project, our main challenge was to find a perfect balance between the unique cultural identities of Vietnam and the UAE. We aimed to create a logo that not only reflected the rich traditions of both nations but also carried a modern flair, all while honoring their strong diplomatic ties.
We aimed to create an emblem that was visually striking, culturally meaningful, and flexible enough to be used across various platforms, effectively representing the unity and collaborative spirit of this important international relationship.
finding inspirations
In creating the logo, our approach at Collective Design Agency focused on elements that instantly resonated with audiences as emblematic of Vietnam and the UAE. We delved into iconic and symbolic aspects of both cultures, blending them in a design that was both visually appealing and deeply representative of the nations' friendship.

We used illustrative images of two symbolic women, representing the soft and delicate cultural aspects of the partnership between the two nations. They are adorned in traditional Emirati abaya and Vietnamese áo dài, symbolizing the unique traditions and representing the honorable mothers of the two nations.
Additionally, we selectively incorporated indigenous elements into the design, with images of two iconic trees closely associated with the people of both nations. The rice plant symbolizes prosperity and abundance for the Vietnamese people, while the Ghaf tree, a resilient and symbolic desert plant, represents the enduring spirit and deep-rooted culture of the UAE.
